Promoting your Dog's Happiness!

Sirius Canine Care uses methods devised by internationally renowned Dog Behaviouralist Jan Fennell, star of the BBC series "The Dog Listener".  Sirius Canine Care helps you to learn the canine language, so that you can communicate with your dog in the way they understand.

Gentle Solution to Dog Problems!

Does your dog demonstrate any of the following problem behaviours?

           Barking incessantly?                                   Destroying things?

Pulling on the lead?                                    Aggression towards people or other dogs?

           Separation Anxiety?                                   Hyperactivity or obsession?

Nervousness or timidity?                             Ignoring your requests?

Would you like a gentle solution that resolves these and any other undesired behaviours? The way people communicate with their dogs may lead the dog to believe they are the alpha, or leader, of their pack (family).  Unfortunately dogs are not able to be effective leaders in a human world they don't understand.  This creates stress for the dog, which manifests itself as behaviours we often see as "problems".  By gaining an understanding of the hierachical structure of a canine pack and the role of the alpha, or leader, I will provide you with simple principles to help you gently communicate your leadership to your dog.   They are principles that all dogs understand, regardless of age or breed.  After all, this is their own language.

You will learn how to establish leadership through cooperation, developing a relationship with your dog based on trust and mutual respect.  Isn't that what you both deserve?

Promoting your Dog's Health!

Massage therapy has been practised for thousands of years on people, and is one of the oldest therapies still in existence.  The reason for its longevity is because we continue to feel the benefits of the healing power of touch.  While the configuration of the dog's muscular structure differs from ours, the essential building blocks that create movement are the same.  This means dogs receive the same healing benefits from massage as people do.  If you are interested in learning more about the benefits of massage for your dog, click here
